On Saturday, June 5, 2022, World Environment Day, a Sound Forest was born!

We are grateful to the Thomas van der Hammen Forest Reserve in Bogotá for lending us its voice and sounds for the creation of one of the albums in the 'Sounds from Your Window' campaign, which won the Communication category of the Latin America Green Awards 2021. We carried out the 'Plant a Sound Forest' campaign with the support of the citizen collective Sembradores Van der Hammen and the Cedros Environmental Corporation.

Through the Latin America Green Awards, we won a crowdfunding campaign on the Greencrowds platform, a social platform for collaborative financing with an emphasis on environmental protection and conservation. This is how 'Plant a Sound Forest' was born.

Thanks to donations from citizens through this crowdfunding campaign and a portion of the royalties donated by the musicians from 'Sounds from Your Window,' we were able to materialize this action by planting over 200 trees of 10 native species.

Guided by a ceremony led by Grandmother Hicha Caca Blanca from the Muisca indigenous people and accompanied by songs, meditations, listening spaces, and workshops, we celebrated this act of conservation and restoration of the territory, contributing to greater oxygenation of the city and the protection and visibility of the Thomas van der Hammen Reserve as a haven of life in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.
